Reference Service

Reference Librarians are at your service from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Saturday) to assist library clients in the most effective use of the library resources and services.

Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

There are eight computer stations in the Electronic Resources Room exclusively for use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, however, the library charges P12.00 per hour for its use.

Orientation and Bibliographic Instruction

The Librarians conduct formal and informal orientation to acquaint and assist new users in the library facilities and services. In depth instructions in the use of information resources and literature search strategies are also provided.

Internet Access

Students and faculty can now have access to the world outside without going out of one’s place of research via the use of the Internet. One can e-mail and do other information stuff which will greatly help his communication problems in no time at all.

Wireless Internet

Among the innovative services adapted by the Library is the Internet Access via the Wireless way. A student need not go to the Electronics Resources Room to access it. He can do it anywhere within the confines of the library. But first he has to have a wireless card, then secure an application form from the Electronics Resources Room for a smooth internet journey.

Downloading Services

1. Free of Charge (But not the diskette)

Four stations in the Electronic Resources Room are dedicated for downloading purposes. However, no personal diskette is allowed to use for downloading. Risk-free and virus free diskettes can be acquired by approaching the staff in charge in the said room for a minimal fee.

2. With Charge

Students, researchers, faculty, administrators, and staff may download any documents from Lex Libris, Irwin Multimedia, and EBSCO Premiere using their personal diskettes but these downloaded documents will be counted and charged P3.00 per page.

Printing Services

All workstations in the Electronic Resources Room are connected directly to the printer. The library charges P5.00 per page for short paper and P7.00 per page for long bond paper.

Audio Visual Room

A 31-seater room equipped with three television sets, computer, LCD and overhead projectors, VHS player are all available for faculty and student/s use.

Microform

Microfiche readers and printer are available for use in the Periodicals Room. Library staff assists clients in the use of these equipments.

Photocopying

Four photocopying machines are available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Costs are kept at the minimum.
