The Ateneo Professional Schools Library provides a range of services to support the research and learning activities of the students.
Reference and Research Instruction
Librarians provide instruction on use of library resources and services as well as how to do business and legal research.
In-depth instructions on how to locate and retrieve print and non-print collections, use of online databases and literature search strategies.
Students can borrow five library materials (books, DVDs, e-books and other electronic resources) for one week, renewable for another week.
Faculty members can borrow ten library materials (books, DVDs, e-books and other electronic resources) for two weeks, renewable for another two weeks.
Library Consortium Privileges
IUC (Inter-University Consortium) Card
MBA students can apply for an IUC card at the Circulation Counter at the start of every term. Upon presentation of this card, a student can have library access to the following schools free of charge:
a. Asian Institute of Management
b. De La Salle University
c. UP College of Business Administration
Students can request for a referral letter at the Circulation Counter upon presentation of their validated school ID if they need to visit other university, private, government or special libraries.
Inter-Library Loan Service
This special service enable students to borrow books available at the Ateneo de Manila University Rizal Library, Loyola Heights Campus, Quezon City in coordination and with the assistance of the APS Library. A request should be made at the Circulation Counter to facilitate the transfer of the books from the Rizal Library.
Turnitin / Plagiarism Checker
A plagiarism checker software is installed at the Periodicals Section. This service helps students and faculty to check and review reports, term papers, Strama papers and theses.
Four photocopying machines are available from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Costs are kept at the minimum.
